England Golf have recently appointed a new sustainability team.

They are Kirstin McEvoy and Ross Shepherd. Kirstin comes from being sustainability lead at the Jockey Club, and is a Board member at the British Association for Sustainability in Sport (BASIS). Ross, with a masters degree in sustainability management has recently worked for a Formula 1 team.

Kirstin and Ross visited Leicestershire and Rutland, at their request, to meet the Greener Golf Network – the board and members of our Advisory Group. They wanted to share their plans and to find out more about our project, particularly the partnership with the wildlife trust. 

They came on the day that England Golf launched its new Sustainability Drive 2025-30

This strategy marks a quantum leap forward in England Golf’s approach to the environment and sustainability.
