However the casts left by two species of earthworm can be a problem for some green keepers of golf courses, bowling greens, cricket grounds and the like. This is particularly so in areas where the soil is a heavy clay.

This is an incredible initiative from TCV - The Conservation Volunteers . One of our Leicestershire clubs Ullesthorpe Golf Club set up an environmental volunteer group, applied for trees and made a tree nursery for whips to be planted. They're now being relocated to areas around the course to aid with flood control and to help frame the public footpath to make it safer for local dog walkers and residents 🌲🌳 ... See MoreSee Less
